SME-Instrument is an acceleration tool for small and medium-sized enterprises promoted by the European Union that finances the most promising technological innovations. Only 7 out of 100 companies are supported with this tool and TuscanTech was immediately welcomed into this small elite, thanks also to the collaboration with the consulting firm New Ideas 4.0. The start-up then is going to participate in the second phase, through which it will try to obtain a grant of up to 2.5 million € to industrialize its innovative battery dedicated to stationary energy storage.
